Peach Cobbler

Ever had a peach cobbler? Tastes great when it first comes out of the oven, doesn't it? A scoop or two of vanilla ice cream on top makes it even more delectable.

In order to have that tasty treat, though, ingredients are needed. A little flour, sugar, butter,
milk and some peach pie filling and voila! perfect peach cobbler.

Peach cobbler is a lot like life. We just moved to Georgia a few weeks ago. I married the love of my life and my best friend. Our new life takes several ingredients. It takes me, James, the kids and a great family and friends support system. All mixed up - it makes a great "dish".

Sometimes, we take the dish out of the oven and realize that life gives us a not-so-perfect cobbler. We have to step back, look at the ingredients and remember that, although the cobbler (life) may not always come out perfectly, it can still be something to be proud of. We may get a couple of over or under cooked cobblers (problems and hurdles) but if we remain focused on the important things -- kisses and hugs, smiles, contentment, the house being filled with laughter --we know that nothing or no one can stop us from enjoying our cobbler.

Enjoy the recipe below for delicious peach cobbler and as you take a bite, remember and be thankful for all the ingredients in your life.
